Questions about pricing
What counts as a request?
One call to POST /v1/optimize. Polling the job status, streaming progress, and fetching the result are free. A request that fails validation with a 400 does not count.
What is the difference between Fast and Thorough?
Fast runs several greedy solvers at the same time and returns the best plan. Thorough adds column generation on top, takes longer and can find a plan that uses fewer sheets. Fast is available on every plan, Thorough on Pro.
Do I need a credit card for the free tier?
No. Register, create a key, and start calling the API. The free tier does not expire and is not a trial.
What happens when I hit the daily limit?
You get a 429 response with a Retry-After header. Limits use a 24-hour sliding window, so capacity comes back gradually rather than at midnight. Jobs already running finish normally.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing section of your dashboard. Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops back to the free tier.
How does VAT work?
Prices are excluding VAT. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number get reverse charge at checkout. Belgian customers and consumers pay Belgian VAT. Add your VAT number in the Stripe checkout form.
